How to climb out of the Christmas seasons over-indulgences.

Seasons greeting! The Christmas spirit is filled with fun, friends, family, joy, tons of food, and (of course) overeating! Then, as the holidays come to an end, and the last piece of turkey has been packed away... many of us look in the mirror and think... "Now what?!"

I began to receive an influx of text messages from clients about eating too much, the need to get back to the gym quick, and about feeling fat! Its easy to recognize the feeling of guilt due to the loss of previous fitness gains and the wonder of how fitness goals can now be reached.

But there is no point feeling guilty or negative about the Christmas spirit is there? Guilt and worry never burns calories!

So here is what you do to get refocused and back on track:

  1. Forget the past.
    - Just stop thinking about what you ate- or didn't eat. Stop thinking about how much weight you have gained or feeling guilty about it. All that thinking does not help!

  2. Write down your fitness goals again.
    - Get Focused by reminding yourself what you want to do! Why you want to do it!
  3. Design your master plan.
-Take Action: Come up with a workout schedule. Call a gym buddy. Get a personal trainer.
  4. Just do it!
  5. -Believe in yourself. Stay dedicated and get active!
YES! Yes you can!
